Saturday

There is no change in Katy’s condition today. She has tried to keep busy to keep her mind off the pain. She hasn’t been able to eat more than a few bites.

Our friend, Tim, came to pray with Katy today. He has been to India several times and had a CD of Indian praise and worship songs to give her. Again, the prayer is so sweet and comforting. Although her body is weak, her spirit remains calm, peaceful, and strong!

Psa 138:3 In the day when I cried thou answered me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul.

    Dearest Campbell Family,

I just wanted to pop in and tell you to hang in there. My prayer for you today has been that First, God give you and your family the strength to tackle each day until you are better, Second that he would bring healing fast, and Third that God would grant you peace during this troubling time of unknowns. Just hang in there, and this to shal pass.
    Love Always

  2. Elizabeth Harris Says:

    Katy,

I just read the posting from a few days ago when you prayed for David’s headaches. You will never know what that meant to me. I will show it to David. :) You are amazing. (Jesus in you) I want to be just like you when I grow up!!!! :) :) :)

God, You are so good. I lift up sweet, precious Katy and ask that Your strength be made perfect in her weakness. May her trust be in You and You alone. In Jesus’ name.

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From whence shalll my help come: My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand. the sun will not smite you by day, Nor the moon by night. The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. the LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever. Psalm 1212

He keeps on making a way,
    Elizabeth

  6. Laura Griffith Says:

I’ve been missing your pretty smile at church. We’ve been in WV and I couldn’t read your blog. I’m teary eyed reading about the continual pain you are experiencing. I tell you to rely on the Lord for your strength but fail to do so in my own life….You and your family are true witnesses for the Lord. I do sincerely pray for you and will continue to do so.

  7. Bob, Amy, Emily, Meredith and Abby Says:

I read this Scripture this morning (Sun) and I immediately thought of you, Katy.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.” 2 Cor. 1:3-5

Love you, Katy!! You are truly a blessing to know. :0)
    Amy

I hope you are feeling some better tonight. I have had migrane headaches and oh how I pray for relief and that you get some strength back.
I would like to come and see you this week or perhaps bring a meal or stay with you if needed. Perhaps Tuesday if you are well enough. I’ll call your mother tomorrow from work. Know that we are thinking of you and praying for you.

Much love to a very special gal!
