Specific Prayer

When I have more time, I will write more about the treatments that are being used to help Katy through this flare-up of HPS. But for now I will just ask you to pray for her as many of you will be going to a mid-week prayer meeting tonight. Katy’s immune system has been shut down for awhile, leaving her vulnerable to infection. She has a fever of 101.7 at the moment, and a compromised immune system. I have called the Home Heath Care and they will be out later to draw blood for a cell count. I am believing God will deliver her from this fever. I have stood over her and prayed God’s word back to him concerning His power to heal. He hears. Please join me in asking for His divine intervention. His will be done.

Praise be to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials. 2Cor. 1:3

You are in our prayers in Nazareth Pennsylvania thanks to sarah pensak who has brought your request to our ladies study group. I have been touched by your blog by your outstanding faith in our almighty Heavenly Father. I personally suffer from many annoying medical issues two of which are stomach/intestinal disorders. I get frustrated from time to time, but when i hear what you are going through, my troubles are so light and momentary in comparison. Your testimony is so precious. You are in my prayers and on my mind a lot these last few weeks. I was in tears as your story of seeing and walking with Jesus was relayed to us. It has made a lasting impression on me. Thanks for being willing to share the ups and downs with all of us. Keep pressing on to the calling in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Dawn, I am so sorry I didn’t see this before I went to church tonight. But we did pray for Katy. She is on the “regular” prayer list in our church.
