Tuesday Afternoon

We have been communicating with Katy’s physicians since early this morning and are now giving her the medications they would be trying at the hospital if she were there. We are praying that the bacteria in Katy’s blood will be treated by this new method. Tomorrow morning, labs will be drawn here at the house. If there is no improvement, we will have to look at the possiblility of returning to the hospital for diagnostic testing.

We are praying for platelet counts to be improving, medications to do their work, and good healing rest at home, while at the same time always considering that God has a plan of His own. Show us your glory, Lord!

  1. Sharon Pierce Says:

    Dearest Dawn and Katy,
Thank you for your faithfulness in keeping us updated. Be assured of our prayers. God knows your every need, your every desire, your every weakness. He is always at the peak of his almighty, glorious and vast power. His eyes are upon you, Katy, and he desires that you rest in his fathomless love and grace. May God bless you with strength from on high, healing in the depths of your body, refreshing sleep, and a joyful faith in him alone. “See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.” Isaiah 49:16 (Read this morning’s devotional in Spurgeon’s Morning and Evening)
    We love you,

  2. Lillian Oliveira Says:

Katy, dear, I got tears in my eyes reading this! I wish more people in America appreciated its blessings! You need to live in a third world country for awhile. GOD GIVE YOU PEACE, HEALTH AND HEALING, in the blessed country. Love, Aunt Lil
