I wanted to wait until the “all clear” to post an update. After giving Katy the higher dose of steroids, her body has made an adjustment over the past two days and she is eating normally this morning without reflux. That is the surest sign that things have settled back down. We are at home relaxing today, taking things very easy and slowly. On Tuesday morning, some of those tears of discouragement I wrote about were also tears of frustration thinking of the future and how hard it is to plan things. Although we believe so strongly in the power of prayer, and that God allows everything that happens , we still have our days of reading scriptures like, “Be anxious for nothing,” and feel they were written for someone else! How thankful we are that God knows our weakness to worry and reminds us daily by the reading of His Word that life is not ours to control.
We’re happy in our home today. Thank you all so very much for praying faithfully. God has been faithful to sustain, and continues to heal. Blog readers, we love you and pray for you everyday. We love to think about your Christmas preparations and hope your days are filled with joy and anticipation.Comments:
