Katy had a second infusion of Rocephin today at two o’clock. She is feeling pretty bad tonight and we aren’t sure if it is a reaction to the drugs or not. It was also not a good day for caloric intake. We are praying, as we know you are, that the Lord will reveal the proper course of treatment for Katy. I remember the doctor in North Carolina saying that with the right treatment Katy will be able to have a better quality of life. I’m reminding myself daily that God knows and sees the suffering of His servant.
It has taken some time to get the right help for Katy. We seem to have a good medical team now. While we hope and pray for answers and test results it seems to be taking an eternity. That reminds me that one morning I was making breakfast and Paul came into the kitchen to get the coffee ready. He said, “Dawn, do you know what the definition of eternity is?” I was all prepared for a theological definition when he said, “It’s how long it takes the toast to pop up when you haven’t plugged in the toaster.” Well I feel like a medical team is plugged in now, and we know what doesn’t work, so any time now we may see results. We pray for that day, and look forward to it. There will be great rejoicing when Katy is free from the pain she’s experiencing. We look forward to what God is going to do.Comments:
