Tuesday March 6, 2007

We have had a great day. Katy has been sleeping a lot but as Paul said, she is making up for a lot of lost sleep. Whenever she wakes up she is quick to tell me that she is still pain free as if it is a joyful surprise. We are so thankful. Because she is doing so well, we are taking her off the Fentanyl pain patch again. She has some shakiness this afternoon because of it, but as she said, “This is nothing compared to the misery before surgery.” She’s right. We will rest up and finish watching the old movies loaned to us by friends, and by the end of the week I think we will see Katy the way we remember her; full of life and enthusiasm. Praise to the Lord the Almighty the King of creation. Oh my soul praise Him for He is our strength and salvation. All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near, join me in glad adoration.

    Hey guys!
I’m so excited to hear that Katy is still pain free!! That’s just such awesome news! I’ve been checking the blog all the time and every time I do, before the page loads I get anxious - thinking ‘this is too good to be true’!! Thank you for being so diligent in keeping all of us up to date! We love you guys and are so thankful that things are going well right now! What a huge praise!

  11. Davey Says:

Hey ladies! I wanted to share with you another medical situation going on within my circle of friends. One of the girls in my hometown has been diagnosed several years ago with a very rare medical condition herself. I know how much of a prayer warrior Katy is, and how that greatly encourages me. I was hoping that when Katy is feeling up to it, that she would visit Lindsay’s site and read about it! She has Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy as well as Porphyria. Thanks!

  12. Davey Says:

I forgot to mention that they are all believers, and a part of our Family.
