A Fantastic Day!

Katy has had an absolutely wonderful day. There is some tiredness, but no side effects in her GI tract whatsoever from the steroid taper. She is eating normally. This is such a praise. The makers of Remicade intended it for people with inflammation associated with arthritis. Somewhere along the way it was discovered that it also helped people with inflammatory bowel disease and since that time it has been offered to people like Katy who have chronic problems. If people can tolerate the drug it is a real gift. And we can say with full assurance that it was a gift from God. Katy is so happy. We are cleaning the house and scrubbing everything. There were eight months of dust balls under the beds, but they waited there until we could get to them. We are very excited about the possibility that Katy may be feeling well for quite some time. It will be a wonderful thing to be out in the community again doing the things God calls us to do. Our first speaking engagement is coming up in May. We will be speaking at a Mother/Daughter banquet and are very much looking forward to that. Life is so exciting. There are adventures in every day.
