I wish there were a way to transport all of you to our house. There is just no way to give you a picture of Katy’s energy, you would just have to see for yourselves. She is surprising us daily as the Remicade continues to do a great work in her body. Yesterday I was fixing my breakfast and I heard her hippity-hopping downstairs at 8:30 a.m. all bright eyed. She joined me in the kitchen and we both started laughing with joy and jumping up and down with our arms in the air. Not being out of bed before noon or not getting down the stairs by herself were two things that we had become accustomed to. Yesterday we went through our day cleaning, shopping, talking, and decorating, all without several naps. She has been able to do things around the house and think clearly. She has been getting her computer files cleaned up in preparation for finishing college and made a plan to finish her constitutional law class within a month. We don’t even stop what we are doing to pray these days. We can be in the middle of something Katy hasn’t been able to do for nine months and suddenly one of us is saying, “Lord, look at Katy going all the way up the stairs without help! Thank you Lord!” We get excited about every little thing that is evidence of returning strength. Her pain medication does not have the side effects that the others have had. Instead of waking up lethargic, she wakes up perky. The past few days have been such a tremendous boost for our feeble faith. We thank God all the time for these good days. We are appreciating them to the fullest. Thank you, Lord, that this posting is filled with evidence of your healing power. Strengthen our friends in their challenges today as you have strengthened us. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!

Praise God! Emma and I read the blog together today and are beaming! Our prayers are for the improvements to continue and that this will be the turning point to a lasting, consistent management of your HPS! It’s great to have you back, girl! Now, don’t hurt yourself or knock anyone over running around your house with glee! Last thing you need now is a broken leg! haha! ;-)
