Another bump in the road

Katy woke up last night in distress. We believe she may have developed an infection, and the hospital is running lab tests to determine the proper course of action. She was scheduled to come home today but obviously that is now in question. Please pray for a quick resolution.

    Dear Katy,
Thinking about you today, and praying that they will find the source of infection and you will be home soon! So glad to hear that the surgery went well.

  4. Jes Says:

    Hey guys!
I’m so sorry - this sure is a roller coaster! I know others have said it before and it’s a bit cliche but sooo true! We are rejoicing that the pain you had before is gone and that there is a bright spot on the horizen - God was so merciful yesterday to give you a glimpse of what lies ahead! More cake and cookies!!! :) We are praying to the infection! You have come so far Katy-girl! Keep on keeping your eyes on Jesus and He will continue to carry you on this journey!

    Love you!
    Jess

  5. Jennifer Blugerman Says:

We just saw your Aunt Lil at the house (we went by to check on Elly). It was so nice to meet her. She told me that the doctors said it could take anywhere from 2 hours to 2 days to get results back from the tests. We are praying that it will only be 2 hours! She also told me another secret. That today is Dawn’s birthday!! :-) HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAWN!! :-) I know you were looking forward to having Katy home as your best present, but pray that God will give you joy where ever you spend your day. OK, all you bloggers, let’s all wish Dawn a blessed birthday, and pray that Katy is home soon feeling stronger than ever!!

    Love in Christ,
    -Jennifer

  6. Doris Harriff Says:

I will be reporting in at my church tonight to update them with the latest news. Let’s hope and pray that it is 2 hours, not 2 days!

And a Happy Birthday to Dawn! (I would like to know how old you are, but I won’t ask you to post it on the internet. I know how old Paul is - I remember when he was born).

    And Hello to Lily!

    Aunt Doris

  7. Barbara Walker Says:

So sorry that an obstacle to your going home has cropped up! I know all of you long for the comfort of everyone being under one roof in your own beds! I pray for a long, peaceful time of recovery for all of you.

    Love in Christ,

    Barbara

  8. Andrea Says:

Our Lord is the Great Physician and He WILL heal Katy in His timing….that is what I believe and pray for her continuously!
This shall pass too very shortly.

    Love and Blessings
    Andrea
