We’re done!

Katy is still sleeping, but the surgery finished around 7:30 (it still didn’t start until about 6pm because they were waiting for delivery of another bag of platelets just in case). There was very little blood loss, and no complications. The doctor said she may not even have much recovery pain and expects that she will probably feel much better very soon (we’re sure praying to that end)! Thank you so much for praying her through! My mom will be staying with Katy tonight, and my Dad will be going home tonight to work on a Honey-Do list.

Have a great evening everyone, and thanks for rejoicing with us!

Katy, I’ve been out of town during most of your latest ordeal, but that hasn’t kept me from keeping tabs on what’s going on or from praying for you. I’m so thankful you had this surgery. I just know the long-term benefits will be positive. What a trooper God has made out of you! You are an en-courager to many. I have a feeling you will be a great encouragement for your new sister as well.
