We are resting today. Katy and I studied more about Daniel today and had a good prayer time together. There are so many things to pray about these days. Many families are touched by hardships of one sort or another. It was wonderful to have a long quiet time of prayer and lay the needs of friends and family in the hands of the One Who knows what to do.
During the night Katy needed more steroids and potassium. She started complaining about her face hurting. I had just read this week that one of the side effects of Remicade is chronic sinus infections. Because that information was available to me I recognized the signs and started Katy back on the medication she had in the house from her last infection. This will be a matter of prayer since the continued use of antibiotics can be problematic in the future. I plan to start praying ahead!
Several cards started arriving this week and it has been fun to walk in her bedroom with a handful of greeting cards. She has enjoyed the stories of the things happening around your home. The story of a critter eating half of Oma’s tomato made her laugh, and many of your stories touch her heart. Thank you all for the many times she has needed a lift and you left a comment or wrote a note of encouragement. Someday she will be able to express what it means to her.Comments:
