Your comments were so precious to us after yesterday’s post. We were blessed by your personal testimonies of the power of prayer in your own lives. We have seen the hand of God today in so many ways that tonight we poured out our hearts in thanksgiving to Him. I once heard a sermon about how different our time with the Lord would be if rather than request anything from Him for an entire week we use the time to praise Him for all He is. I guess I still feel pretty needy because I haven’t been able to do that yet without asking for something!
Katy’s glands are quite swollen around the site of her port surgery. She still shows signs of infection somewhere in her body. She is being tested for a bacterial infection and the results can take up to several days. Meanwhile she is back on pretty strong pain medication. Tomorrow morning we will see a new doctor and discuss what more can be done to give Katy a better quality of life. Please pray that he will have wisdom and insight as Katy tries to explain everything she has been through in the past year.
This blogging experience has shown us that we can share our thoughts, facts, and feelings about a brutal illness and find that we are not alone. Thank you for standing and kneeling with us.Comments:
