Halfway There

Mom called about an hour ago. She and Dad left at 9:00am and drove all day. They made really good time and had a pleasant drive to Alabama, where they’ll be spending the night. She said they listened to Blue Shoes and Happiness book-on-cd most of the way. The weather cooperated and traffic was manageable. Yeah! Tomorrow, they’ll get an early start and drive the rest of the way to Louisiana.

Back here, I spent the day babysitting Annelise. I want to thank Trisha for her willingness to help me all day. I had not seen her for awhile, so in between diaper changing and feedings, Trisha and I caught up. Annelise was her cheerful self, so it was a pleasant day. It’s early evening and I am still feeling well. Praise the Lord! I also want to thank everyone who has called to “check up on me”. I so appreciate the calls, offers of help, and prayers. If I need anything, I’ll be sure to let you know. In the meantime, you are making me feel both loved and blessed.

Just checking on you from up near the Canadian border in n.w. Minnestota. Horrible storms up here last night.
Continuing the pray for you and P & Dawn and Qavah and her foster family and all the transition. Hope she’ll be a good traveller. Lisa was HORRID when we went to pick her up in New York City when she arrived from Korea.. a screamer from coast to coast anytime she was in a moving vehicle!
Hold the faith gal … God is in charge and He knows the plans HE has for each of you.

    Hey there!
I’m so excited for you guys! I can’t wait until Qavah is here and I’m sure that you all must feel the same way! I have been praying for her - that this transition will go smoothly and she will cleave to her new wonderful family!

Looking forward to more updates!! :)
