My evening with Fairlgiht was delightful! We were able to clean the fridge and polish the silver while catching up. Thank you, Fairlight, for your help and company!
It is 10:00pm and I just finished talking with Mom. Since, it’s only 9:00pm there, they were finishing their shopping trip at Wal-Mart before heading back to the hotel. I could hear Qavah in the background. The two girls (mom and daughter) were laughing, because Qavah had hiccups. Our conversation was short, but my heart is overflowing with God’s goodness.
Dad and Mom spent the entire day with Qavah at the foster family’s home. Tonight for dinner, they had real, Louisiana gumbo! Mom said it was delicious. Dad finished packing and loading all of Qavah’s toys and belongings. Then, when it was time for Mom and Dad to leave, the foster mom turned to Qavah and said, “Well, are you ready to go now? Give me kisses.” Qavah gave the foster mom kisses, jumped into Dad’s (Paul’s) arms, and exclaimed, “Come on Daddy!” The foster mom turned to Mom and said, “This has got to be the Lord! It’s like He has whispered to Qavah that you are now her parents.” I asked Mom, “So Qavah has bonded with you?” She replied, “Oh yes!”Comments:
