Sunday Afternoon

We will write more later or tomorrow, but I wanted everyone to know that all is going well here. “No news is good news” is true today!

After getting another full night of sleep (4 nights in a row), I was able to attend church this morning. My spirit has been refreshed after worshiping the Lord and partaking of Communion. My Dad was asked to speak at church and so he was able to thank everyone for their prayers and support. My presence at church is as a result of answers to prayers. Because so many people have prayed and traveled this journey with us, I’m thankful that they can now rejoice with our family as we enjoy and marvel at God’s goodness.

My family will be spending the afternoon at my grandparents’ home in Fishersville. We are planning to have a fun-filled visit with family. It has been almost a year since I’ve seen my cousins. Last August, everyone visited here, because I was too sick to travel. How blessed I am to feel well enough today to travel and visit…more answers to prayers!

HI..what great news..yes you have had a full year of illness…praise the Lord that you are able to enjoy your wonderful family today.
JT celebrates his 24 birthday this week. He had dinner with his grandad Burk at our home today. He is enjoying the movies with friends tonight. JT tells me he has plans with friends for Tuesday night. His sisters will connect with him sometime later in the week.
We are busy taking turns staying with Katie Burk’s four children for ten days, while Katie and Chris are in Hawaii. Katie is very thankful for family. Julianna, Maggie, Linda, and sister Ann have divided the ten days into a workable schedule. wow how quickly we forget the fast movement of a toddler.
enjoy a healthy, happy week..hugs, Linda

Katy — I’m so glad you are getting wonderful rest and able to go out and enjoy your family activities! These are good days. Praise the Lord!

I, too, made it to church this morning for the first time in several weeks (both health and travel have affected my attendance lately). I was so grateful to worship with friends!

You continue to be in my daily thoughts and prayers!

    Sandy
