Home Sweet Home

**To view more pictures, click on Katy’s Musings**

Dad, Mom and Qavah arrived home around 4:00pm. I spent the evening catching up, unpacking, and playing with Qavah. Mom was even able to get a walk in tonight. Understandably, it took awhile for Qavah to talk or play with me, but by the end of the evening, we were playing “house” and I helped her at bath time.

Been watching for this update. Well, at last, there she is! Looking very shy at the moment! which will probably change very quickly once she gets her bearings! She is very thin - I suppose due to her genetic condition rather than any real lack of available food. We’ll be looking for more pictures, and I pray that she is sleeping sweetly in that new little bed, in her new room, with new everything and a new life - but the SAME Heavenly Father watching over her. How He loves her to have taken her out of her need and into your arms and home! What a future He has planned for her! Tell her she has a great-aunt Lil, too, who cares about her and prays for her.

    Love, Aunt Lil

This message is for Qavah! Welcome to Virginia & to the Campbell family. You’re going to love your new family. They love you so much. Do you know that I have been praying for you for months? It’s hard to believe that you are finally home. I can’t wait to meet you. I have 3 grandchildren who would love to come & play with you on your big swing set. Have fun exploring your new home & meeting your brothers & sisters & neice.

What a wonderful photo of sisters! I pray these days go smoothly as everyone settles in. Have fun!

What a great picture of Qavah and Katy! I’m glad that things are going well for everyone. Can’t wait to see many more pictures of my new cousin!

What a joy to see you ALL at church today! Qavah is precious and we can’t wait to see her little personality begin to shine after she’s had a chance to become more familiar with her surroundings. I thought she did wonderfully at church being bombarded with so many new faces. She was shy, but at linger longer I was so pleased to see her out of your arms and on her own a bit. I even got a few smiles out of her! I think she’s going to adapt very quickly! Let’s plan a play-date with Emma & Matt sometime this week if you think Qavah would like it — maybe Wednesday afternoon after our school lessons are over? We can meet at our house or yours — wherever Qavah would be most comfortable. Let me know! Emma and Matt are very excited about getting to know her! We all are! We’re praising God that you are all home safely and can’t wait to see what He has in store next!
