Other than a few sips of water, Katy is not able to take in enough to keep hydrated. We are relying on the mercies of God. Her labs were drawn this morning but the results won’t be back until tomorrow morning. She will see her GI doctor at eight in the morning and we’ll have wait to see what he suggests.
Life goes on as usual here. Today Mom and Dad drove down from Fishersville for a harp lesson. Mom is learning to play Christmas music. While Mom and Whitney played, we all fell asleep. Can you imagine how we appeared? First we went to different rooms and got comfortable. Then as the soft harp music drifted from room to room it put us all to sleep. It was one of those good power naps, too.
Tonight we plan to watch a movie about the life of Martin Luther. He stood fast against the evil of his day, and made known the light of God’s word in a very dark time in history. We would rather have things different. We’d rather see Katy at her desk studying tonight and eating a bag of chips. But right now we are in God’s classroom. He has more for us to learn about His timing, His power, and His healing.Comments:
