March 1st, 2007

I took Katy to “Stuff-Mart” today for a couple of items she needed. After shopping awhile she became fatigued and we went back to the front of the store to find the wheel chair with the basket attached to the front. When we asked the attendant for it, he looked at Katy and said, “Would you let me pray for you right here, and right now?” After he prayed an amazing prayer over Katy for healing, he told her he was a retired minister and knew that God was still going to use him for things just like that prayer he prayed over her. God’s people are everywhere, boldly obeying His commands. You just never know what bargains you’ll find at your local “Stuff-Mart!” If it’s prayer you need, look for “Roy” in the blue vest.

What a beautiful story! That man is a blessed man indeed to know he could be the hands of Jesus to someone today.

I really liked your Cootie story as well. I was thinking about the pictures of you when you were young and it put a smile on my face to imagine a young you smiling a big smile at the opportunity to dance.

HI all, I have been reading the blog regularly. I am always soooo hopeful the pain will end and Katie will be healed long termed.
YOu have all been on such a journey.
Today I will go to Tom Fenlon’s surprise 60th birthday party. Jack is busy coaching a special olympic team in their annual basketball tournament. Lee Ann Jancuska and I will go to the party together. John is busy coaching his baseball team at UMBC. John has been working at UMBC thirty years this year - an unbelievable fact to me.
I am praying for you and sending lots of hugs.
